Position Overview
We are looking for dedicated and motivated staff to join our Operations (OD) in Bebedo Locality, Nhamatanda District, Sofala Province. The selected candidates will play a crucial role in overseeing OD activities, and supporting the overall mission of GNMOZ in the community.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Implementation of sector-specific projects
Implementing the projects in the areas of Education, Health, WASH, and Advocacy in the field based on the supervision from Head Office, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and community need.
Community mobilization
Facilitate the community to actively participate in the projects, ensuring inclusive and sustainable development.
Stakeholder communication and engagement
Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including local government, district government, and community leaders, to ensure smooth project implementation and alignment with GNMOZ Mission and Vision.
Documentation and Reporting
Prepare and submit essential reports, including Activity Report, Monitoring Reports, and financial Reports, to ensure accountability and transparency in project execution.
General Administrative Support
Handle general administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, coordinating logistics, and maintaining records to ensure daily operation.
Required Qualifications
Education
Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
Experience
Minimum of 2 years of experiences in community development project or activities supporting children and vulnerable families.
Any Other Special Requirements
Excellent computer skills: Microsoft Excel, Word, Power-point presentation;
Training skills, participatory skills;
Excellent interpersonal skills, including both verbal and written communication skills.
Other Considerations
A strong commitment to the mission and values of Good Neighbors Mozambique;
Understanding of and experience in safeguarding and protection from sexual exploitation and abuse is highly desirable;
Must possess a valid motorbike license and be able to operate a motorbike.
Languages
Proficiency in Portuguese and English.
