Contexto
A Organização Internacional para as Migrações (OIM), a Agência de Migração da ONU é uma organização intergovernamental dinâmica e crescente, com 174 estados-membros. Estabelecida em 1951 e agora ativa em mais de 590 locais de campo em todo o mundo, a OIM trabalha com parceiros, governo e sociedade civil para promover a cooperação internacional para abordar os desafios operacionais da migração e mobilidade, auxiliar na busca por soluções práticas para problemas de migração e fornecer assistência humanitária aos migrantes necessitados, incluindo refugiados e pessoas deslocadas internamente. A OIM aborda o fenômeno migratório de uma perspectiva integral e holística, incluindo vínculos com o desenvolvimento, para maximizar seus benefícios e minimizar seus efeitos negativos.
Sob a supervisão geral do Chefe da Unidade de Coordenação de Paz e Desenvolvimento (PDCU), em estreita coordenação com o Chefe do Subescritório e Unidade de Gestão de Recursos e o Gerente do Programa (Migração, Meio Ambiente, Mudanças Climáticas e Redução de Riscos - MECR) e supervisão direta do Oficial do MECR; o candidato selecionado será responsável por executar as atividades administrativas e financeiras sob o portfólio do MECR.
Responsabilidades
Apoiar atividades administrativas e de escritório no campo em estreita colaboração com o oficial do MECR e o Escritório de Finanças e Logística.
Em estreita coordenação com Finanças e Logística e outros colegas relevantes, monitore o orçamento do projeto, as despesas financeiras e todos os procedimentos administrativos de acordo com o plano de trabalho, alertando o Gerente do Programa sobre déficits e gastos excessivos.
Processar adiantamentos e solicitações de pagamento e iniciar ações corretivas quando necessário.
Processar todos os Formulários de Requisição de Compra (PRFs), incluindo envio às unidades relevantes para aprovação, rastreamento de PRFs e manutenção do banco de dados de rastreamento.
Estabelecer contato com a unidade de Compras e Logística da OIM para o acompanhamento da aquisição de materiais, transporte e entrega aos escritórios de campo em tempo hábil.
Informe o Gerente do Programa sobre quaisquer desvios do plano e proponha os ajustes necessários.
Registrar e arquivar todos os documentos relevantes do programa MECR;
Coordinate with Human Resources, and Finance Units in the compilation of documentation related to staffing, time sheets, etc.
Support in general operations troubleshooting and problem solving.
Perform such other duties as may be assigned.
Qualifications
Education
Degree in International Relations, Administration or related area from an accredited university with two (2) years relevant work experience; or
Completed high school diploma with at least four (4) years of relevant working experience preferably within the International Humanitarian Organizations
Accredited Universities are those listed in the UNESCO World Higher Education Database.
Experience
Has good knowledge of administration and project implementation and experience in a Humanitarian emergency operation and shelter assessment and materials distribution.
Has previous experience working in community-based programmes or camp settings.
Previous working experience in an international organization and familiarity with the IOM/UN common system or similar systems is an advantage.

Languages
Fluency in English & Portuguese is required (oral and written).
IOM’s official languages are English, French and Spanish.
Proficiency of language(s) required will be specifically evaluated during the selection process, which may include written and/or oral assessments.

This selection process may be used to staff similar positions in various duty stations. Recommended candidates will remain eligible to be appointed in a similar position for a period of 24 months.
